I was invited by the Meadville Medical Center (MMC) to develop a mural for this transitional area which allows access to both vehicular and pedestrian traffic from the parking lot to the Medical Arts Building. The goal set by MMC was to transform the site to enhance patient experience. This public mural at Meadville Medical Center’s Medical Arts Building transformed an urban passageway to create a pleasant, contemplative space for patients as they transition from the MMC parking lot to the hospital and Dr.’s offices. The mural includes poetry to inspire visitors.
