This 72′ x 12′ mural located on the Hovis Annex Building on Park Avenue near Chestnut and Park Streets celebrates Meadville’s rural and urban heritage and was developed during community charrettes and community painting bees, led by Berry Breene (Allegheny College class of ’07) as part of her senior project. The mural was painted by Breene and local artist Pete Marushka, with help from numerous community volunteers and was funded with support from Keep Pennsylvania Beautiful and a gift from the Richards Family. The mural celebrates the rural and urban heritage of both Meadville and Mill Run.
